Welcome to Pinnaroo OOSH!
Pinnaroo OOSH is a community owned and focused not-for-profit outside of school hours service. It is operated by a team of passionate and dedicated educators and a volunteer Parent Management Committee.
Conveniently located in the grounds of Winmalee Public School, the service provides Before and After School Care care during the school term and an exciting Vacation Care program during the school holidays.
Pinnaroo OOSH can accommodate up to 110 children per session and can accommodate casual, permanent and alternate/shift work booking schedules.
Our Program
We aim to provide a program that meets the needs of individual children and that foster our philosophy of learning through play via a free play framework.
This framework allows the program to build on each child’s continuing interests and provides opportunities for them to play, explore and develop new skills in their own space and time. Our routines and program also support our strong focus on building each child’s capacity and agency. Part of the way this is evident in our program is through sensory and ‘adventurous play’ activities. We proudly support the children to explore with nature, textures, climbing and creative free play with non-conventional equipment. Our educators facilitate discussions with the children on safety, guiding them to create rules and boundaries for new activities. Our educators provide effective supervision to ensure each activity is done safely whilst still providing the children with the space to explore.
Opening Hours
Pinnaroo OOSH operates before school care, after school care and vacation care throughout the year, closing on Public Holidays and for two weeks over the December/January holidays.
Before School Care 6.30am - 9am
After School Care 2.55pm - 6.30pm
Vacation Care 6.30am - 6.30pm
Fees
Pinnaroo OOSH is an approved service and eligible families can receive Child Care Subsidy reductions on all full fees.

Vacation Care Days are priced independently based on the set activity taking place. Please refer to the Vacation Care program for prices and cut off times, as well as any late booking fees.

We warmly welcome families from Winmalee Public School to join our Pinnaroo OOSH Community.
We are currently accepting new enrolments for before school, after school and vacation care however we currently have a waitlist for some sessions.
Once enrolled our OOSHies can attend as frequently or infrequently as required through casual, permanent or alternate / shift work booking schedules.
